Book 2 is great! (Suprisingly)

This was just as good as the first one. The book had me stressed from beginning to end. The character development was thrilling. I can't say I'm overly happy it ended but I gladly await what will be happening next. If you like fantasy and romance (elves, pixies, brownies, drahons, etc) and a whooole lot of sexy this book is for you!

excellent story line - I didn't put it down until ...

When I read the first book in this series, I was hooked. Well written, excellent story line - I didn't put it down until the end. I instantly hit buy the next book and started in on the second one. While still a really well written book, and still able to hold my interest, where in book one I really enjoyed watching Magda develop, in book two all I wanted to do was punch her in the face and tell her to grow the heck up. Sleep with this one, sleep with that one, sleep with this one, sleep with that one - oh woe is me, I can't make up my mind! I get that there needs to be continued story development, but it shouldn't be at the expense of making the heroine of the story appear to be a complete idiot who seems unable to make a decision about her life with any more importance than how to tie her shoes! In the first book she was strong, independent, and well on her way to being a favorite of mine. In the second book, again, I just wanted to drop kick her. I will read the third book when it comes out, because I really want to find out what happens, while at the same time I find myself dreading it.

This second book is equally written as well as the first. The second book may want to make you slap the main character but honestly two hot princes in love with a feisty seemingly epic failure of a heroine? Sometimes I find myself wondering how either can love her. This series seems to be the embodiment of angst concerning choices...or lack thereof in a world that is unforgiving and harsh. It is where one lover straddles the line between two others and gets burnt. Perhaps book 3 will bring some revelations and just maybe some happiness.
