This book was so good, I loved the characters

This is not your typical, smutty, trashy step brothers romance. The reason these two families came together you will not see coming. This book was so good, I loved the characters. You will yell out loud at them for the way they are hurting each other. And you will fall in love with them. This book is a great little adventure to jump in. I don't think you will regret buying this book.

WHERE IS BOOK 2....Taming the Heiress????

I am spool into this book that I was disappointed that this is book 1 of a trilogy published in 2015. Where's the rest of the series???????? Dying to keep reading. I HATE cliffhangers. PLEASE release books 2 & 3 soon!!!!! Would have been 5 stars if not for the missing books.

Sweet and gritty

Ray's mother has a vendetta against Serenas father and manages to snare him and marry him soon after Serenas mother dies. She then uses her son to get control of his company. Her plan is for Ray to seduce Serena and get her controlling shares too, however Ray actually loves Serena and her him too. After a drunken encounter after her 18th bday bash she goes off the rails as Ray doesn't remember any of it. Then after another drunken encounter, Serena goes to find Ray to declare her love and overhears him and his mother plotting and has an accident.
This book is fabulous and I could have cried when I got to the end and it ended on a cliff hanger. She's so angry at him and uses the accident as an excuse for payback and to pretend she doesn't remember their encounter. There were sweet moments, moments where you thought hoooo is it hot or is it just me, many OHS/oh holy sh&t moments and moments where you deliberately read faster so you could find out what happens next. As with all of Eve's books it's sweet yet gritty at the same time and I really enjoyed it. Sadly shaking my kindle didn't give me more pages to the book so Now to wait impatiently for book 2.

About the Author
Anthony Grey became a foreign correspondent with Reuters after beginning his career in journalism in Norfolk, England, where he was born and educated. I was a little bit disappointed in Tokyo Bay

Having recently read Saigon by this author, I was eager to read Tokyo Bay. I was a little bit disappointed in Tokyo Bay. The characters didn't seem to be developed as well as in Saigon and the ending sort of left me hanging - a sequel in the works perhaps? The editing in Tokyo Bay is not as good as in Saigon. Syntax errors and missing words detract from the readability of Tokyo Bay. But, with that said, it is a good read.

After reading Saigon, I was so impressed with this author that I looked forward to reading more of his books. However Tokyo Bay was a real disappointment. A really silly plot with unbelievable characters, unfortunately I gave up after the first couple of hundred pages. My husband read the whole book and told me not to bother wasting my time by continuing.

A plodder that then leaves serious plot lines unresolved

I rarely write reviews and even more so bad ones. But don't waste your time on this one. I had high hopes at the start, but the plot went in some unbelievable directions and then left several major plot lines and character issues completely unresolved at the end. At the end I viewed it as a waste of my time.

About the Author
Doreen Virtue worked as an eating disorders therapist at inpatient and outpatient psychiatric facilities in California and Tennessee. A book that delivers on its promise.

Do you crave certain foods? Or maybe you find yourself eating everything in sight when things are going bad for you? Or do you fall off your diet because you are so hungry? Doreen Virtue, Ph.D., offers solutions to these and other food-related problems in Constant Craving: What Your Food Cravings Mean And How To Overcome Them. Based on her research, which included scientific studies, ancient Chinese medicine, and interviews with her clients, Dr. Virtue says that food cravings are related to our emotions. She defines a food craving as an "obsessive desire for a specific type of food." This is different than a preference, and it often leads people to eat in very unhealthy ways. "Food cravings often stem from basic unmet needs for fun, excitement, or love," according to Dr. Virtue. She explains how each food craving can be traced to a specific emotional need, often allowing people to heal themselves. For example, people who crave nuts haven't met their needs for fun and pleasure in their lives. She devotes a chapter to each kind of craving, explaining how the constituents of each kind of food work in the body to create an illusion of feeling better. For example, nuts contain pyrazine, "which triggers the pleasure center of the brain." She then offers suggestions as to how the emotional needs can be satisfied in ways other than eating, and finishes each chapter with affirmations. Specific cravings discussed include: chocolate, dairy products, salty snack foods, spicy foods, liquids, breads, rice, pasta, nuts and nut butters, cookies, cakes, pies, candy, and high-fat foods. Dr. Virtue emphasizes that meeting the underlying needs as the best way to overcome food cravings. She says that the appetite must be healed, not killed. Several easy quizzes provide guidance as to what kind of eater you are, such as "binge eater" or "stress eater." She also explains how to keep from overeating at holidays and restaurants. She promises that the information in Constant Cravings "will allow you to conduct your own food-craving interpretations. I'll teach you the meaning behind each type of food, so you can analyze--and reduce--your own appetite." Readers will find that she keeps that promise.

What I especially liked about this book, is that it is not just another diet book. She states simply, eat less and excercise more and you will lose weight. What she does talk about is what type of eater are you and then analyzes what that means and then follows that up with a 5 Steps to Reduce Fattening Feelings, which I think is good, and which I am going to start using today!

It really helped me discover what i really had a craving for. It made me understand more about myself. I think it is a great book if you have constant cravings for certain foods and want to find out more about it.

All of These Etudes Are Good for Technical Development, a Few Also as Concert Pieces

Johann Baptist Cramer`s studies (études) justify their enduring repute through a capacity to be abidingly useful. The pianist at an advanced stage (or who is striving and working thereto) encounters many of the hurdles which occur in works of advanced difficulty in the virtuoso pianist`s concert repertory, the difficulties of which Cramer presents systematically for the purpose of concentrated technical work on them to overcome technical these hurdles, such as, among many other special technics and textures found in truly virtuosic repertoire, the intricate writing for subsidiary inner voices of the right and left hands which occurs in many concert and recital works.

Nicely enough, however, the intrinsic musical worth of Cramer`s pedagogical études to develop piano technic, notably among them his group of "84 Studies" (his Op. 50) in this Schirmer edition, or his Op. 81 Études, selections from the latter of which Jean-Pierre Marty has recorded for the Solstice label (SOCD-259), make some of Cramer`s various technic studies suitable for occasional use in concert, unlike Czerny`s and others` good and highly serviceable but rather too "dry" technical exercises. This double usefulness of Cramer`s studies (these and others) make them all the more appealing for the pianist to master.
